\x0a Amanda left this Wednesday to visit her parents in Tucson. She asked for me to get her a mirror for the bathroom so she could do her makeup. I took that as a suggestion and decided to remodel the whole bathroom instead :-) \x0a\x0aHere is a picture of what it originally looked like:\x0a

The black countertop really didn’t match the laminate cabinets. It was all pretty gross.
\x0a\x0aI tore out the old cabinets and quickly realized that the pipes were too far apart for the new cabinet I had in mind. So I went ahead and knocked out the drywall to expose the pipes.



\x0a\x0aI hired a plumber to sweat the copper pipes so they would fit the new cabinet. There were some weird angles and also an electical outlet in the way, so I didn’t feel comfortable trying this part on my own.
